As highlighted by The World Economic Forum, we are on the precipice of “The Fourth Industrial Revolution.” In this era of Industry 4.0, we find ourselves in a period of rapid transition – an age of automation, connectivity, artificial intelligence and robotics.
As a result of this rapidly changing landscape, we must recognize the key to sustainability and have an imperative learning by understanding the changes it will bring about across industries like: Education, Entertainment, E-commerce, and Governance. To understand this shift from learning to development, eminent speakers from various industries shared knowledgeable insights and threw a great light on the subject at Shape South Asia 2017.
Beyond the panel discussions, workshops were conducted to understand artificial intelligence as a trend in technology and new media. Also, a workshop on Evaluating Citizen Happiness was conducted by the Happiness Department of Madhya Pradesh Government, a first such department in the country. In addition, a workshop - Logic & Magic provided creative solutions to wicked problems and was concluded with the thought of not limiting ones imagination to what is possible. Every possibility exists within imagination.
